Creating maps
GIS software is the best option to create your maps in, especially if you are also including data.
With ArcGIS pro, you can visualise, analyse, and explore spatial data. It also has functions for making 3D scenes. ArcGIS online is a cloud-based mapping and analysis software, which you can use to share and collaborate in making maps and analysing data.
ArcGIS pro and ArcGIS online are not open source, but you free access with your Solis-id through MyWorkplace or download it through the GIS Community on Blackboard. See this website for more information.
QGIS is an open source alternative to ArcGIS. Tutorials are available through the QGIS website and through GIS OpenCourseWare.
